Possibly that's not how I should begin a letter to my boss of bosses, so therefore I apologize and offer up the explanation that I'm very tired and am not doing that great on formality right now.

I have this apple. A crazy girl outside HQ gave it to me, and she kind of seemed like she knew you so I took the damn thing because the jetlag was telling me to kill her and I wasn't sure if she was one of your stranger employees or not. She says it has a nasty surprise and I shouldn't eat it.

It hasn't exploded yet.

Permission to muck around with it, or would you rather have it as a reminder of her gratitude? I mean, if you were expecting a possibly-poisoned apple, that's no business of mine.

Also, if you don't mind, a briefing or assignment might be nice. Is there anyone heading Black December that I should talk to? Plane tried to explode on the runway so I got in later than expected.
